Clothes That Work has been an influential force in building our community’s workforce and contributing to our local economy since 1998 by providing interview and work appropriate clothing, image counseling and interview coaching for people who are seeking employment.  Included among our mission-based programs is a new educational program that provides quality training focused on professional soft skills that enhance professional image.

Clothes That Work (CTW) seeks to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant to support its mission, vision and values by providing high level administrative and secretarial support for the Executive Director. This position is pivotal to the growth of the organization.

The Administrative Assistant position is a part-time non-exempt position that works up to 29 hours per week; some evenings and weekends are required. This bright, energetic and creative professional will provide administrative support of day-to-day executive functions and performs duties such as coordination of meetings, ordering supplies, and working on special projects. Also, answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. The Admin collaborates as part of a team, but is capable of working independently and takes initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred. Two years’ experience in an administrative support role. Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access. Ability to operate and maintain office equipment including a desktop computer, fax machine, scanner, multi-line telephone and copier. Familiarity with technology tools including the internet, voicemail, and e-mail systems.

Strong work ethic: reliable, dependable, flexible; strong customer service orientation; excellent organization skills with consistent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage work flow and handle multiple activities simultaneously. Ability to analyze and solve routine office related problems. Able to deal professionally and sensitively with diverse audiences. Professional appearance and appropriate business etiquette.
