Week 3: Casually Cool

What do you like to do for fun?

I love sports! I love watching sports. I love coaching sports. And I love watching my four kids play sports. When I am not at work or at church, I can usually be found at a sporting event watching one of my kids play baseball, softball, flag football, and at soccer games, swim meets and triathlons. Wow, that’s a lot!

I also believe in giving back to my community to make it a great place for my kids to grow up. I am involved in scouting, and I am a preaching minister at my church. I am also serving a third term as a city councilman for the 5th ward in Troy.


Week 2: Workplace Image

What do you find most rewarding about your job?

I enjoy sales because I am good at it! Just kidding! I truly enjoy sales because it’s a challenge. Every day is a new opportunity for me to help my customers solve issues. My job is to try to make their lives easier by providing a product that can help them perform efficiently. The reward is collaborating with the customer by helping problem solve solutions so they can keep advancing the possibilities with their customers.


Week 1: First Impressions

What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?

I do believe salesmanship is a true profession. It must be learned, but it must be born in your blood. Both of my grandfathers, my dad and my brother have all been truly successful in sales. So maybe you could say I was born into it! I truly believe this quote by William Clement Sone to be true, “Sales are contingent upon the attitude of the salesman, not the attitude of the prospect.” I begin each day with a positive outlook, and I expect good things to happen. My optimistic attitude and positive outlook on life have given me the resilience needed to be successful in sales.
