Shop the Boutique

The Clothes That Work Boutique located at the Job Center is an upscale resale shop open to the public. When donated clothing is too colorful, too dressy or not appropriate for interviews or work situations, we sell this clothing in the Boutique.

Proceeds from Boutique sales act as a small funding stream for the organization and go toward the primary mission of our organization: building self-confidence by providing interview and work appropriate clothing and related training to job seekers striving for self-reliance.

In our Boutique, we sell brand name clothing and accessories -- many are one-of-a-kind. Some of the more recognizable names include Talbots, Jones New York, Evan Picone, Dana Buchman, Anne Klein, Ellen Tracy, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren, and Doncaster. In addition to clothing, we sell accessories, shoes, furs, evening gowns, and hats. All items are priced affordably. One never knows what can be found in our Boutique.

The Boutique is run by volunteers. They cordinate attractive, colorful displays, price merchandise and aid customers with their purchases. Volunteers are the backbone of our Boutique.

Please stop by with a group of friends during your lunch or on the second Saturday of each month. Have fun shopping and finding great bargains while helping job seekers in the Dayton region.

A Comment from one of our customers:
"This morning one of my colleagues, who is always attired beautifully, was wearing a gorgeous jacket.  Another colleague and I mentioned to her how pretty she looked and, without missing a beat, she beamed and said..."I went to Clothes That Work's Boutique yesterday.  I'm going to shop there all the time now...it was great!"
