Mary's Story

A long time animal lover, Mary is living her dream in a way she never imagined. "I have my passion back," Mary told us as she excitedly talked about her new job as an animal groomer. "I love my job, I have quit smoking and I am on the road to having my own place."

Mary's smile is just as much about her passion for pets as it is about persevering. Mary is overjoyed because she has overcome the drug addiction that led her to seek services she never thought she would need.

During a class at Clothes That Work, Mary told us, "It is hard to find a job once you have made some bad choices in your life. People just don't want to give you a second chance."

Fortunately, Mary's instructor was there to give her encouragement and tips for succeeding. Today, Mary tells us, "Clothes That Work has helped me improve my career and my life. You gave me hope to continue searching for a job and the confidence to know I can do it."
