Week 3: Casually Cool
What hobbies, activities, and pastimes fuel your passion?
Sports are my passion such as cheering on Ohio State Football or playing softball and golf. I’m the type of guy who likes to win and sometimes with my job God doesn’t want me to win, so sports gives me a great outlet. Sports help build great bonds with people and helps you learn the good and bad. In the sports arena, you can be humbled very quickly, and you need to learn to win graciously – we can all use that lesson!
Week 2: Workplace Image
What does an average day (or week) of your life look like?
I experience different kinds of days every day. There are a lot of similar daily activities such as leading prayer and worship, visiting the funeral home or hospital, welcoming a new baby, leading bible study, engaging in my own personal study, administrative items, and even handling crisis situations and they can all happen at once sometimes. All of this variety keeps me on my toes!
Week 1: First Impressions
How did you become the man you are today?
A couple of outstanding pastors helped form me into who I am today along with a strong family and a strong church environment. And of course, God gets in your way and aims you in the direction he knows you need to go, so I have to give him credit as well. I think being successful is all about building relationships and getting to know people. Be honest in all aspects of your life, because they all really flow together.
Why should people vote for you as the best Role Model for Men at Work?
You should vote for me because I make the gospel come alive with style!
