Week 3: Casually Cool
What hobbies, activities, and pastimes fuel your passion?
My wife and my kids completely fuel my drive to be successful. Having hobbies is a little further out on the horizon right now because I spend most of that time running after my kids … and I love it. They keep me motivated to work as hard as I can so that I can get home to them quicker. I skip lunches and eat at my desk because every minute I waste is a minute I could be at home.
Week 2: Workplace Image
What does an average day (or week) of your life look like?
One of the smartest thing I’ve done is creating real relationships with customers. It allows me to be more flexible when issues arise and they always will. My customers know I have integrity and they know I won’t give up until the job is done right. My image is based on presenting myself professionally in all situations with the honesty and dedication it takes to make satisfied customers.
Week 1: First Impressions
How did you become the man you are today?
I am who I am today because I have surrounded myself with people that I admire the most, getting lots of advice, and taking most of it. I believe the success of my whole business career is due to a lot of answered prayers. I’ve actually learned more from going through the rough times than the easy times. Trying to do everything myself had me on the doorstep of bankruptcy. I finally understand now that you have to hire the people to do the work I’m not good at doing. Being broke is a great teacher … I’m glad that I learned from that experience and moved on!
Why should people vote for you as the best Role Model for Men at Work?
Teamwork makes the dream work … and I’m your man!
