Week 3: Casually Cool
What do you like to do for fun?
I love to cook and play tennis. I found cooking good, fresh foods to be very relaxing after a difficult day. And of course, eating the meals afterwards is very satisfying. Tennis offers a great way to burn off those calories after a good meal and is also a way to meet new people with similar interests, and a way to network with other professionals.
Week 2: Workplace Image
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
The fact that I continue to serve my country in ways that will keep it safe and protected and on the leading edge of defense technology is very rewarding. Also, I get to interact with others who serve in all levels of the U.S. Government.
Week 1: First Impressions
What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?
I have worked for the USAF in multiple roles since 1978. In uniform until 2002, when I retired from active duty and became a civilian contractor. As I wore a jacket and tie for most of my work hours, it seemed I received greater respect and acknowledgement in the work environment than if I was dressed more causally.
Why should people vote for you as “the Most Inspirational Man in Dayton?”
Don’t vote for me, but vote for a change to help folks who really want to work and improve their lives.
