Why Should You Vote For Me?

I am a longtime friend of Clothes That Work, I like to have fun with my wardrobe, and I don’t take myself too seriously. I believe that a few great pieces can be added with reasonably priced and vintage items to create your own look and style. Real success comes from believing in yourself, but why not have fun and feel empowered and successful in what you wear?!

Accessory of Empowerment

Since I don’t wear many ties anymore, I try to wear fun bright or interesting socks. And I can always be found wearing my Oktoberfest hat every year for The DAI’s Oktoberfest.

Shoes of Empowerment

I picked a vintage pair of Bostonian wing tips that had never been worn. I found them in a thrift shop and love them. They are so well made and to add an artistic flare I took out the old laces and replaced with red ones – they are fun and always start a conversation.

Outfit of Empowerment

I have always enjoyed nice clothing and fashion. I try to have a professional, yet approachable presence. Although I love ties, I generally only wear them when I really need to dress up as they give me headaches. So I try to bring my own sense of style out through a nice suit or sports coat paired with a crisp shirt and matching socks. My Outfit of Empowerment is a contemporary cut Perry Ellis blue Suit paired with a white business shirt with a detailed collar, blue polka-dotted socks, brown leather belt, and vintage brown wing tips with red shoe laces. I think a nice suit makes anyone feel good about themselves.
