Week 3: Casually Cool
What do you like to do for fun?
While I do enjoy long walks in the park, romantic dinners by candlelight and cuddly puppies and unicorns nothing can compete with going out and trying something new and unexpected. From Poetry slams, underground dance cyphers to pop-up dinners. I am game for the adventures that life can present. I am all about the question of “why not?”
Week 2: Workplace Image
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
That all of the things that I do from working with students discovering their “creative” voices to working on projects that are changing the landscape of Dayton, feed my soul and brings me such joy. Never dull and full of unexpected surprises allows for a rich and rewarding career.
Week 1: First Impressions
What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?
To say it was a calling doesn’t quite do it justice. I have gotten more comfortable each day with the blending of my passions for the arts, community activism and education. The fact that I get teach dance, create art installations and host a television show sometimes all in the same day, is what made this the only choice for a career and life.
