Manpower of Dayton
Week 3: Casually Cool
What do you like to do for fun?
As I have “matured” the activities that I most enjoy have changed as I have changed.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, music, theatre, bicycling, bowling, walking, hiking, fine food and wine, but above all else I enjoy traveling.
When I travel, I want to become very close to the culture of the people who live there. That is the difference between a traveler and a vacationer.
Week 2: Workplace Image
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
In the simplest of terms, “Manpower finds jobs for people and people for jobs”.
The most rewarding aspect of our work is knowing that we are able, on a daily basis, to make a tremendous difference in the lives of the people who come to us looking for meaningful employment.
We make a difference in not only the lives of our Associates, but their extended families as well.
Week 1: First Impressions
What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?
From a young age I realized that my future as a singer, actor, author or professional athlete would be bleak at best. Through my parents, their friends, relatives and parents of my friends, I leaned toward pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, marketing and management. When the opportunity to join Manpower came up, I accepted the challenge and have been with Manpower for the past 41 years.
