Tornado Relief Event

In November, Clothes That Work was the recipient of an enormous donation of designer clothing from a company called cabi through the Heart of cabi Foundation.  (see description of cabi and the Heart of cabi Foundation below) Over 3000 brand new items along with an additional 2,000 samples and gently worn items with a value of over $500,000 were donated to Clothes That Work to distribute to women who were affected by the Memorial Day tornadoes. A clothing distribution day on November 9th was held to help replace the wardrobes of the tornado victims that came to the event to receive the free clothing. We have scheduled a second clothing distribution day for Saturday, January 11th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Clothes That Work, and we will be providing transportation to and from the event, to help women who suffered a loss because of the tornadoes by replacing their wardrobes with new designer clothing. More details about transportation will be posted on the Clothes That Work website as they become available.

In partnership with the Dayton Area Red Cross, tornado victims will be asked to provide proof of loss via an insurance claim or a FEMA approval letter. The event will be held at Clothes That Work at 1133 S. Edwin C Moses Blvd., Suite 392, Entrance A in Dayton, Ohio.
