Week 3: May 13 – May 19
The Casually Cool Award
What do you like to do for fun?
When it comes to fun, I have some pretty diverse interests. One of the main ways I like to have fun is playing volleyball. Whether it is sand or indoor, you can usually find me playing a few days a week. However, in the winter, I usually spend more time skiing and snowboarding. I also love to travel and experience different places and cultures. So what I find myself doing for fun really depends on the day.
Week 2: May 6 – May 12
The Workplace Image Award
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is the opportunity to help members of the community through the firm’s pro bono work. Whether it is through our record sealing and family law clinics, or various other projects, it feels good to be able to help people who would otherwise not have access to services they need.
Week 1: April 24 – May 5
The First Impressions Award
What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?
My decision to pursue my current career was a mix of childhood aspirations and experience. I remember at a young age watching “JAG” with my parents and thinking, “Wow, I want to be a lawyer.” It wasn’t until I started studying law and legal theory in undergrad that it really clicked and I realized that I truly had a passion for legal work.
