Kettering Health Network
Week 3: May 13 – May 19
The Casually Cool Award
What do you like to do for fun?
My personality outside of the office is one of physical, spiritual, and mental/emotional fitness. When I am not at the office, I like to stay active and work out at the gym or outside in the park. I will visit the Cox metro parks to enjoy long walks, hikes or sprints in nature. After work you will catch me at the gym in Centerville. I recently began training two of my co-workers both of whom have gotten compliments for the noticeable changes. Working out relieves stress increases blood flow and keeps you looking young and energetic.
Week 2: May 6 – May 12
The Workplace Image Award
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Working for KHN Human Resources is rewarding because I have the ability to touch lives on both sides of the healthcare spectrum in Dayton. Working in Talent Acquisition to side of HR that hires people you give the blessing of meaningful work to others. A place where they can achieve their dreams and financial goals. On the flip side of that you are helping to keep a vital resource to the community working at full steam in its best form and position to provide healing and positive impact on the surrounding community.
Week 1: April 24 – May 5
The First Impressions Award
What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?
What made me choose to work in Healthcare HR? Well that is a very good question! I have a family full of nurses. My mother and my two aunts are Registered Nurses, my older sister is a CRNA Nurse Anesthetist, and my little brother works in Healthcare HR as well. So, with all of these touchpoints in my family it was only a matter of time until the healthcare bug hit me too. Digital Marketing, Social media marketing, political & religious campaigns were in my background of other skills and areas that I worked prior to working for Kettering Health Network.
