Week 3: May 13 – May 19
The Casually Cool Award
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I thoroughly enjoy spending my time shopping for new clothes, hiking in the woods, traveling to other continents, or simply grilling with charcoal. Over time it was ingrained in me that the clothes make the man. Dressing to impress, whether in a casual setting and especially in the workplace, means having a sense of my own style.
Week 2: May 6 – May 12
The Workplace Image Award
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is being able to remedy issues. Whether issues are minor, major, or deadline centric, I find completion and fulfillment in ascertaining a fix – or a really functional workaround. Excitement is also found in differentiated issues, on a multitude of levels, day by day. The day is never a cookie cutter imprint of the previous, with assorted things going awry, or new questions needing answers.
Week 1: April 24 – May 5
The First Impressions Award
What made you decide to pursue your current career or vocation?
I was drawn to this career because I displayed a proclivity for all things involving computers from a young age. I enjoyed math and science, so when I began using a computer, I naturally became interested in learning how they worked. My career has committed me to learning and adapting to new technological advancements in order to stay competent.
