As we bring the year to a close, we wanted to stop and thank you for your generous support of Clothes That Work. We have big plans for 2016, and with your continued friendship, we will keep eliminating image barriers to employment and career success for our friends and neighbors.
Happy Holidays to one and all,
Paula, Suzy, Bill, Libby and Jen
Committed to Our Clients
We recently updated our mission statement to reflect our growth. Clothes That Work empowers clients to secure and maintain employment by providing interview and workplace appropriate clothing, confidence building education, and coaching services. As we close 2015, approximately 1,100 lives will have been improved thanks to the programs and services offered by Clothes That Work.
An Award Winning Team
2015 was an unprecedented year for awards and public recognition. We received the Better Business Bureau’s prestigious Eclipse Integrity Award in May, and we were honored to be recognized as the Dayton Business Journal’s Not-for-Profit Organization of the Year in November. Clothes That Work has the best team with the expertise to get the job done!
The Fashioning Futures Luncheon, our signature fundraiser in October, continues to be the highlight of the year. More than 500 guests joined us to celebrate the accomplishments of our clients and inspire others to achieve their employment goals. This year, we launched a new fundraising event in the spring called “Men at Work.” More than 50 local men volunteered their time and shared their stories to help generate funds for our programs and services. You can still read their stories and see their pictures on our website if you missed the fun.
Save the Date!
I hope you will Save the Date for the 2016 Fashioning Futures Luncheon – it will be on Thursday, October 27, 2016. And please stop on by to visit us during our normal business hours – we truly value your support!
Wishing you a warm and happy holidays,
The Staff of Clothes That Work
